Elantra Interior Seating

The Elantra boasts seats for five people in two rows of spacious seats. Passengers have ample headroom and legroom in the front and rear and the outward visibility gives the cabin an airy, open feel. Cloth upholstery is standard, but you can upgrade to available leather upholstery, heated seats, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. Combination leather and cloth sport seats are optional. Some other available features include ambient interior lighting and a sunroof to add more luxury to your commute.

Two full sets of LATCH connectors for the rear seats and a middle tether anchor are included for installing safety seats. The connectors and tethers are easy to access and attach but tuck away for passenger comfort when not in use.

Elantra Technology and Features

The Elantra is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that has wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® smartphone integration, a feature that lets you connect your phone for on-the-go music and entertainment. The touchscreen has sharp graphics and an easy-to-navigate menu. HD radio, two USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, and voice commands are also standard. Available upgrades include Bose premium audio, wireless device charging, navigation, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen. 

As for safety, the Elantra delivers a rearview camera, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, a feature that alerts you to possible frontal crashes. Other standard safety features include Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, a system that warns you if there are vehicles in your blind spots, and Driver Attention Warning, which alerts you if you seem fatigued. 

You’ll also have Lane-Keeping Assist and Lane Following Assist, a set of features that help you stay in your lane on the highway. Several upgrades are available, including Parking Distance Warning, Highway Drive Assist. Junction-Turning Detection and Cyclist Detection are also optional. You can add Smart Cruise Control, a feature that modifies your speed on the highway to keep with the movement of traffic.
